Cookie Policy
What we use, what we don't, and the choices you have.
By Setup Quarterly Editorial · Last updated May 26, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Setup Quarterly ("we," "us," or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit https://setupquarterly.com (the "Site"). It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your choices regarding their use.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small data files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used by website operators to make their sites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and report on usage.
2. How we use cookies
Setup Quarterly uses a minimal number of cookies. We do not use cookies for advertising, behavioral tracking, retargeting, or analytics that identify you individually.
2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (essential)
These cookies are required for the Site to function properly and cannot be disabled. They are set by our hosting provider, Cloudflare, and are used for:
- Security: protecting against fraudulent traffic, bots, and abuse
- Load balancing: distributing visitor traffic across Cloudflare's global infrastructure
- Functional consistency: maintaining your session as you navigate between pages
The cookies in this category are set by Cloudflare and may include:
| Cookie name | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
__cf_bm | Cloudflare Bot Management — distinguishes humans from bots | 30 minutes |
cf_clearance | Cloudflare security challenge verification | Up to 1 year |
For details, see Cloudflare's cookie disclosure.
2.2 Analytics — cookie-free
Setup Quarterly uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not track individual users. It provides only aggregated, anonymized traffic statistics.
We do not use:
- Google Analytics
- Facebook Pixel
- Heatmap or session-replay tools (Hotjar, FullStory, Microsoft Clarity, etc.)
- Advertising or retargeting pixels
- Behavioral advertising networks
3. Affiliate link clickthrough
When you click an affiliate link on our Site (for example, a link to Amazon, Awin, or Impact.com partners), the destination retailer may set their own cookies on your device as part of their commission attribution system. These cookies are governed by the retailer's own privacy and cookie policies, not ours. We do not have access to or control over these cookies.
For details on individual affiliate program cookie practices, see:
- Amazon Associates: privacy notice
- Awin: privacy policy
- Impact.com: privacy policy
4. Your choices
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:
- View cookies stored on your device
- Block cookies from specific sites
- Block all cookies (note: this may affect your ability to use some site features)
- Delete cookies when you close your browser
Common browser cookie-control guides:
Because our cookies are strictly necessary for site security and functionality, blocking them may cause parts of the Site to malfunction. We do not require any non-essential cookie consent because we do not use non-essential cookies.
5. Do Not Track signals
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal. Because Setup Quarterly does not engage in cross-site tracking, this signal does not change our practices. We do not track you across other websites, regardless of DNT signal state.
6. Updates to this Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
