Affiliate Disclosure

How we make money, and why it never decides our verdict.

Setup Quarterly is funded by affiliate commissions. Some links on this site are affiliate links: when you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is exactly the same as it would be otherwise.

The programs we participate in

We participate in affiliate networks and direct partner programs, including the Amazon Associates Program, Awin, and Impact.com, among others. When a review links to a retailer through one of these programs, that link may be an affiliate link.

As an Amazon Associate, Setup Quarterly earns from qualifying purchases.

Trademarks

Amazon and the Amazon logo are trademarks of Amazon.com, Inc. or its affiliates.

How this affects our reviews

It doesn't. Affiliate revenue funds the gear we buy and the time we spend testing, but it has no influence on our verdicts, ratings, or rankings. We are never paid to publish a review, we do not accept sponsored content disguised as editorial, and a product's commission rate has no bearing on how we score it or where it appears. If a product isn't good, we say so -- whether or not we earn anything from the link. Our full editorial standards spell this out.

Compliance

We disclose our affiliate relationships clearly and conspicuously: on every review page, in the site footer, and here. These disclosures are intended to comply with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's 16 CFR Part 255 endorsement guidelines and the European Union's Digital Services Act, Article 26.
